On-Site Car Parking
There are a limited number of on-site car park tickets available - please click here: https://tickets.solheimcup2019.com/. There is no on-street or additional parking at the venue.
For visitors travelling by car, there will be temporary road changes and routes to the venue to minimise road disruption. Please follow all local signage to the venue and do not follow sat nav guidance.
For visitors with pre-purchased parking for the car park travelling from the south will be signposted off the A9 northbound at Greenloaning onto the A822, then again onto the A823 at its junction. Visitors travelling from the north will be directed towards Crieff via the A85 to then join the A822 leading to the A823 and then the venue.
Park & Ride
A Park & Ride service to Gleneagles will be in operation from two sites with the aim of limiting the impact on local communities and local road networks and helping offer quick and convenient way for attendees of the Solheim Cup to get to the action. Details on the Park and Ride sites are below.
McDiarmid Park, Crieff Road – Perth
The North Park and Ride facility is located on the Crieff Road in Perth near the A9 and is the property of St Johnstone FC. It is often referred to as McDiarmid Park. Please follow local signs to McDiarmid Park and do not follow sat nav guidance due to temporary road changes for the event.
Castleview &amp;#8211; StirlingThe South Park and Ride facility is located on the Millennium Way (A84) near to Junction 10 of the A9 and is the property of Falleninch Farm, it is often referred to as “Castleview”. The bus shuttle service will run from the adjacent Stirling Council Park and Ride facility. Please follow local signs and do not follow sat nav guidance due to temporary road changes made for Solheim.&nbsp;
Castleview – Stirling
The South Park and Ride facility is located on the Millennium Way (A84) near Junction 10 of the A9 and is the property of Falleninch Farm, it is often referred to as Castleview. The bus shuttle service will run from the adjacent Stirling Council Park and Ride facility. Please follow local signs and do not follow sat nav guidance due to temporary road changes for the event.
Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both less than 50 miles, or an hour’s drive away. Arrangements can also be made to land helicopters at the hotel.
Cycle storage facilities will be available at each of the park and ride sites and the venue public car park.
Drop-off / Pick-up
A taxi drop-off / pick-up point will be operating in the Park & Ride North Arrivals Terminal throughout the tournament week (Monday 9th to Sunday 15th September inclusive). Operational times will be as follows:
Tuesday 7am - 7pm
Wednesday 7am - 6pm
Thursday 7am - 8pm
Friday 6am - 8pm
Saturday 6am - 8pm
Sunday 8am - 8pm
For local registered taxis, please follow local directional signage to the North Arrivals Terminal.
Getting to Gleneagles by train
Gleneagles station is just a short walk away from Gleneagles golf course. ScotRail will be providing an enhanced service for the Solheim Cup. Timetable information will be available approximately six weeks before the event on Scotrail.co.uk.
Regular rail services from Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth and Glasgow Queen Street will stop at Gleneagles station. Passengers from Edinburgh will need to change at Stirling for a connecting service to Gleneagles station. The approximate travel time from each destination is as follows:
Glasgow Queen Street – Gleneagles: 50 minutes
Edinburgh – Gleneagles: 1 hour 30 minutes (change at Stirling)
Aberdeen – Gleneagles: 2 hours
Dundee – Gleneagles: 40 minutes
Perth – Gleneagles: 15 minutes
