2) The top two (2) players on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings at the end of the Qualifying Period who are not already qualified under (1) above. In the event of a tie (equal points), the player with the higher ranking on the U.S. Solheim Cup points list at the end of the Qualifying Period will be selected;

3) Two (2) players as selected by the U.S. Solheim Cup Team Captain.

Note: To be eligible for the U.S. Solheim Cup Team, players must be both U.S. Citizens and members of the LPGA Tour.

Qualifying Period: The Qualifying Period for the 2019 U.S. Solheim Cup Team shall begin on the date of the first Ranking Event after the 2017 Solheim Cup team was announced (CP Women’s Open, August 24-27, 2017) and shall end after the CP Women’s Open (August 22-25, 2019).

Ranking Events: Ranking Events are those tournaments which take place during the Qualifying Period and are designated as such by the LPGA.

*If any player sustains an injury, becomes ill, or is otherwise unavailable to play for the 2019 U.S. Solheim Cup Team after the end of the Qualifying Period, (which shall be determined by LPGA in its absolute discretion), the player will be replaced by a player who fulfils the criteria set out above and who shall be selected by the USA Solheim Cup Team Captain.
